In a world where depression affects more and more people, our project “MUSIC – Supporting People in Depression” proves that singing together and making music can be a powerful tool for social change. These are not just words – these are real actions that have already brought tangible results!
Over 100 choirs, dozens of cities, and 13 countries!
Between 2022 and 2024, more than 100 choirs from Poland, Austria, Germany, Italy, Greece, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, Norway, France, Slovakia, Kosovo, and Denmark joined the project. Together, we organized open concerts, rehearsals, and unique musical events that attracted hundreds of participants and audience members.
Partnerships that matter
Choirs that join our initiative collaborate with psychological and pedagogical counseling centers, mental health institutions, foundations, family support centers, cultural centers, and schools. Thanks to these partnerships, our activities have both educational and therapeutic value – during concerts and meetings, we offer consultations with psychologists, lectures, and workshops for families and youth.
Innovative forms of support
Together with the Upper Silesian Oncology Foundation supporting the Oncology Institute in Gliwice, we launched a pilot project in which oncology patients participated in open choir rehearsals – a unique example of how music can support the healing process and foster a sense of community.
Education and inspiration
Our webinars and online meetings with mental health experts were extremely well received – more than 500 people took part! We shared knowledge, exchanged experiences, and inspired others to take action.
Growing reach and community strength
The reach and impact of the project continue to grow each year, building a lasting and engaged community in Poland and abroad.
